Going through a lot of lifestyle changes at the moment - so a bit of an emotional wreck. *wibbles*
Today wrote up and submitted my two documentary ideas to 4 Real. If one of them gets commissioned I'll be able to make a 30 minute documentary on either pirates!!! (arrrrr!) or rollerskating.
God I'm so edgy now. I wonder when they'll let us know.

Wow a documentary on Pirates must be really interesting.Wish I could do something like that.
I really, really, really hope one of them gets commissioned. If not, maybe I'll approach a network and beg to make it.
Just been told it was on the radio that Ben & Jerries (icecream) made all the staff dress up as pirates on Talk Like A Pirate Day, and if they didn't, they had their wages docked.
How excellent! I want to work for Ben & Jerries. Although I would become unspeakably fat.
Hey you!
Good luck with your two ideas - they sound great!
I've got a sneaky feeling that those aren't really the two ideas are they?
Unlike some people (eg myself - the blogs from brazil spring to mind!) you're a bit too canny for to put future prog info online I'm sure!
So whatever your two ideas are, (and I'm sure they're great) best of luck and hope it works out!
Shame because I was really looking forward to seeing a doc about pirates!

Yup, you're right. My documentary ideas were actually about jellyfish and how they're an essential food group, with Gillian McKeith presenting. The other is about pebbledashed houses, and how local people should launch campaigns to have them made illegal.
What do you think? :o)
hehe - genius!
Would make for a very good alternative documentary strand..!
PS - I actually ate some jellyfish in China, it's like the jelly you might make with sugar and flavourings over here, except without the things that make it nice... such as the sugar and flavourings... yuk!
Eugh! Whatever floats your boat, my dear! I think I'll stick to the curries personally. Speaking of which - any idea where you can get a decent curry in London??
BTW, seeing as you are a master of prose I challenge you to write a cutting edge article on one of the subject matters mentioned in my post on Pebble-dashed Housing! I'll be checking your blog for that one!
Decent curry in London...
The truth is that I don't know a really good place for a curry, no! Sorry.
BUT... if you want to burn the roof of your mouth and make your eyes water but eat some deliciously hot food, I recommend a place called the West African Restaurant, a tiny place so it is, on Drummond Street next to Euston.
Now, not all the food is hot, but the dish to look out for is the Jerk Chicken..! I've had it about 7 times, and it never fails to give me a stomach ache the next day!!!
The owner is called Antonio and he always tells me about a deaf friend he had when he was a kid, friendly guy. Although someone once stole his sign language book which annoyed him somewhat! heh heh!
Just checking the pebble dash article to see whether a cutting edge piece is possible...!
